Why does DTF need powder and curing?
You print the design onto film, coat it with adhesive powder in a shaker, then cure it so the powder melts into the ink. Once cured, the transfer is ready to press — and curing is also what gives the print its wash durability.
How do you stop white ink from clogging the printhead?
Our printers circulate and stir the white ink so pigment keeps moving instead of settling, which is what causes clogs. Automatic capping and cleaning cycles protect the heads between jobs.
How do I protect the printhead if the shop is closed for a while?
Flush the line and leave the head on protection fluid before a long break. Done properly, a machine can stand for over a month and still start cleanly. Your dealer can walk you through the exact routine for your model.
How do I get consistent color?
Use the ICC profile built for the ink, film and printer you actually run — that is what keeps color predictable from job to job. Our ICC profile finder will point you to the right one.
I've never run a DTF printer. What support do I get?
Full setup and operation videos cover driver installation, RIP setup, your first print, daily maintenance and troubleshooting. Your authorized dealer also handles installation, training and service in your country.
What RIP software do you use?
Our systems run neoStampa. Setup and day-to-day operation are covered step by step in our video library.
What garments can DTF print on?
DTF works across cotton, blends and most synthetics, with no pre-treatment step. That makes it a practical alternative to DTG for a mixed garment range, and the water-based ink keeps the hand feel soft.
What is the RamLock quick-change system?
RamLock is our patent-applied platen mount. Interchangeable platens swap out in seconds, so one press handles a range of item sizes, shapes and styles without tools.
Why do cap presses have an under-center pressure adjustment?
It sits beneath the platen and builds pressure from the centre outward, so the whole platen presses evenly rather than harder at one edge.
Why are heat press platens coated?
The non-stick coating makes cleaning easy. If adhesive or a transfer lifts onto the upper platen, a wipe with a dry cloth takes it off.
Why is there a silicone pad?
The pad holds heat and gives slightly under pressure, which helps ink and adhesive flow evenly into the fabric for a clean application.
How do I check my press has even pressure?
Put a square of paper in each corner, close the press, then try to pull each one out. If one slides out more easily than the rest, the platen may be warped or out of adjustment. Even pressure comes from the centre adjustment working together with a floating upper platen.
Why does the upper platen feel loose?
That is the floating platen design. It lets the platen settle corner to corner under pressure, which is what gives an even press across the whole surface.
How do I check the pressure setting?
Lower and lock the upper platen. Presses with a pressure readout show the setting on the front panel — 1–3 is light, 4–6 medium and 7–9 firm.
How do I clean the upper platen?
Use an abrasive-free hand soap with a cloth. An upper platen cover keeps it clean in the first place.
